Linda: My wedding made perfect with great photographer

When I saw my wedding day photos for the first time, it was like reliving moments of my special day all over again and the pleasant surprise of seeing those moments that I had simply missed because I was the overwhelmed Bride that day. The pictures captured every aspect of my wedding, including images of my groom and his attendants getting ready, my pre wedding moments with family and attendants, the ceremony, the reception, and our exit.

John was able to come up with images that were so creative and artistic, things that I hadn’t even thought of, but I’m so glad that he knew to capture as one of the many details of the day to remember forever.

I had an outdoor garden wedding, which transitioned to an outdoor evening reception, so the colors, lighting quality and his choice of background for the images were perfect.

The price was good; I was able to own the images with no strings attached. John was so professional, flexible and a real pleasure to work with through the entire process. His overall demeanor that day was fun, relaxed and calming when I needed that the most during my pre-ceremony shots.

The collection of images told perfectly the story of my wedding day and I couldn’t be more pleased with his work. I highly recommend John The Photographer.

Kate: John is the Best!

I cannot adequately express how wonderful it was to have John as our wedding photographer.

He is kind, smart, thorough, talented and funny. Oh, and he takes amazing photographs! Everyone at the wedding raved about John’s work.

At our venue, there was a back porch, and unbeknownst to us, John had set up a self-portait section on the back porch, where our friends and family could click themselves and each other in addition to the professional photographs.

An experienced photojournalist, John didn’t just capture the standard wedding snaps. He captured truly intimate moments that we cherish.

Jillian: From the bride

I couldn’t say enough wonderful words about John! He fit in with my bridal party and family with ease. He blended in to take phenomenal candid shots and directed all of us quickly for beautiful group shots. John also suggested a “Photo Booth” for our guests to take photos during the reception, it was a HUGE hit! John took all of my input and created the wedding photos I had always imagined. That day when by in a whirlwind, but I am able to enjoy my wedding day again and again by looking through the incredible photos. I am so thankful that I had John as my photographer and you will be too!

Kristin: Amazing first communion photos

The first communion photos are amazing! John perfectly captured the warmth and excitement of the big day. So many of the pictures look like something out of a National Geographic photo essay on a first communion in America today, except the main smiling face belongs to our daughter. You captured so many wonderful moments: the children and their mothers adjusting their first communion attire, the children looking every-which-way while waiting outside by the cathedral wall, the processing into the church, the squirming in the pews, the receiving the eucharist, the singing to the congregation, and the wonderful mayhem after the ceremony. How do you get the kids–our daughter, siblings, and friends–to appear so natural? They seem to love looking into your camera. That’s a rare gift.

My great-grandmother’s first communion certificate has long had a place of honor in my family; I expect that the formal portraits of our daughter will also be cherished by our family for a long time to come. The photos with the light shining through the cathedral’s rose window down on our daughter are breathtaking, and the sublimnity of the photos with our daughter before the heavy grill-work appear to be from a different era altogether. Thank you so much.

Tasha: John was a lifesaver.

There are few things I hate more than being in front of a camera, but I needed some professional pictures taken for my upcoming book. I called John in a panic—my publisher wanted the photos within days. I dreaded the shoot but John put me immediately at ease and totally came through. It was a pleasure, and I was way more relaxed than I anticipated. Within a day and half I had a great set of photos in my publisher’s hands and, more importantly, they were thrilled with the results. I highly recommend John! He was a lifesaver!
