After the wedding ceremony, the bridal party took a short walk from the Valhalla Grand Hall down to the shores of Lake Tahoe for some portraits of the bridal party. We did some shots on the pier and beach before getting in our cars for the drive to Emerald Cove where we did some more wedding photos. Emerald Cove has to be one of the most beautiful spots on Lake Tahoe. It was a treat to be able to take some wedding photos with Emerald Cove and Lake Tahoe in the background.

Valhalla Grand Hall, Lake Tahoe wedding ceremony photos – Lindsay & Dan

The historic Valhalla Grand Hall is a beautiful location for a Lake Tahoe wedding.

Lindsay and Dan held their wedding ceremony at the Valhalla Grand Hall in South Lake Tahoe. Valhalla means “heavenly place” in Norwegian, and this building and location are certainly in a heavenly place. The Grand Hall is located along the sourth east shore of Lake Tahoe and is certainly a romantic site for a wedding.

The Valhalla Grand Hall was built in 1924 and has beautifully detailed wood and stone features including a wrap-around, lodge pole pine porch with gorgeous views of the lake. Inside there are hardwood floors and the French doors open onto the porch and a large lawn. At one end of the hall is a huge 20-foot tall stone fireplace and walk-in hearth that served as the backdrop for Lindsay and Dan’s wedding ceremony.

Lake Tahoe wedding photos, Getting ready at Montbleu Hotel – Lindsay & Dan

Lindsay is just about ready for the wedding - one last look in the mirror from the Bride's room at Valhalla's Grand Hall.

Lindsay gets ready for her wedding with her mother and the bridesmaids at the Montbleu Hotel in South Lake Tahoe.

Lindsay and Dan got married at a South Lake Tahoe wedding ceremony that took them from the Mountbleu Hotel and Kingsbury Grade to the Valhalla Grand Hall and Emerald Cove and ending up at Murphy’s Irish Pub in South Lake Tahoe. The bride and bridesmaids got ready at the Montblu Hotel while the groom and groomsmen were getting ready at a private home on Kingsbury Grade. Once they were done getting ready it was off to the Valhalla Grand Hall for the wedding ceremony.

Following the portraits at Emerald Cove and Valhalla Grand Hall the wedding party made their way to Murphy’s Irish Pub in South Lake Tahoe for the wedding reception. It was a beautiful Lake Tahoe evening and a wonderful time was had by all.

Jillian's bridesmaids adjust her necklace in preparation for her wedding ceremony.

Jillian and Brian got married in the Lake Tahoe town of Glenbrook on the Nevada side of the lake. They were married at a private home in the Glenbrook community on a hill overlooking Lake Tahoe. There are several buildings on the property as well as a tennis house and tennis courts, where the outdoor evening reception was held. The wedding ceremony was held on the lawn in front of the house with a cocktail reception following the ceremony in side the home.

The wedding ceremony was held just behind the house in Glenbrook. With views overlooking Lake Tahoe the location was a beautiful one. Family and friends gathered in an intimate setting on a beautiful Lake Tahoe summer evening. Everything went according to plans and the ceremony was a delight.

The reception was held on the tennis courts just behind the house. A nice level place for dining, dancing and talking with friends old and new. I love the lighting that they used to create such a festive atmosphere. Dinner, cake, a band and more…
