Ashley and Jeffrey were married at the historic Cass House in Cayucos, California in April of 2010. It was a beautiful day on the central coast and the light was just perfect for some beautiful wedding photos.
I photographed Ashley and Jeffrey’s engagement session in Sacramento in November of 2009 – you can see some of the photos from that shoot here.
The Cass House is a great location for a wedding located on Ocean Avenue just across the street from Ocean and pier. The house, built between 1867 and 1875, was the home of Captain James Cass, who named the town Cayucos after the Native American word for Canoe. Cass was was a major force in the community of Cayucos at his time He was the town’s banker and also built both the town’s church and its bustling wharf.
